Tudun Wada residents honour their heros

TUDUN Wada community in Kaduna South Local Government yesterday honoured some of its illustrious sons who had contributed towards the upliftment and development of the area.

Speaking at the ceremony the chairman of the community, Alhaji Ahmed Tahir, Yariman Tudun Wada said the occasion was organized to show appreciation and to ginger the beneficiaries to do more in future.

According to Tahir, Tudun Wada community is lucky to have such people who have contributed to the development of the community.

He said the beneficiaries in their various fields of endeavour had empowered some people in the area in their educational pursuit as well as employment.

The District Head of Tudun Wada, Alhaji Muhammadu Saidu, Zannan Zazzau who spoke at the occasion expressed happiness with Kaduna Polytechnic Rector, Dr. Isah Danjuma who was one of the awardees, saying that he was the first rector of the institution who shows keen concern for the people of the community where the institution is situated.

Reacting to the award, the Rector of Kaduna Polytechnic, Dr. Isa Danjuma described it as “a blessing not just from the community but from God.”
