Emir advises religious leaders

  THE Chairman Kaduna state council of Chiefs and the Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Shehu Idris has charged religious leaders to always guide their followers on the right path of religious tolerance and teaching.  Idris was speaking at the quarterly meetings with Immam and traditional leaders in Zazzau emirate held at his palace on Wednesday.
  Alhaji Shehu Idris expressed satisfaction on the peaceful coexistence between the Muslim communities and the non Muslims in the emirate and the state at large.
  He called on the religious leaders to  make sure that Ramadan Moon if sighted was accepted and respected by all Muslims so that, fasting commences on the same day and end on the same day.
  Some Scholars who contributed at the meeting called on the Islamic preachers to always ignore their followers who are use to ask provocative questions in order to attack a particular followers who has different ideology.
    They also called for the respect of leaders whether it is a traditional, religious and community for the peaceful advancement of the society.
  On the issue of health responsibilities the scholars said, it is on three stages, which are, the family, government and the Doctors who are professionally trained.
  The scholars use the meeting and called on the people to stop sideling people living with HIV/AIDS and other infections in order to avoid being giving them the chance to wide spread it in the society.
  The contributing scholars are Malam Mainasara Tudun Wada Zaria, Sheikh Sani Isah chief Imam Warff road Kaduna , Malam Yakubu Yusuf Imam of Ansarudden, among others.
