Don’t panic over accommodation problem, pilgrims urged

The Chairman, Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abdullahi Abdulhameed has called on all intending pilgrims from the state not to panic over the accommodation problem in Saudi Arabia as adequate  arrangement is being made to ensure their comfort.

Alhaji Abdulhameed who made this known  at the continuous enlightenment for all intending pilgrims at the board’s office recently, said that the 2,500 seats allocated to Kwara by the National Hajj Committee of Nigeria (NAHCON) for this year’s holy pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia have been exhausted

According  to him  the board is still in the process of securing more seats in view of the huge number of prospective pilgrims willing to perform this year’s hajj from the state. “Intending pilgrims from Kwara state should not be panic over the accommodation problem in Saudi Arabia. Arrangements are being made to ensure your comfort.

In his lecture delivered  at the event, Ustadh Olohuntoyin AbdulWahab warned all the intending pilgrims to shun all acts of indiscipline capable of tarnishing   the image of the state, adding that they should strictly adhere to the rules and regulations laid down by the Saudi Arabia authority.

The cleric stressed that, the importance of Hajj as the last pillar of Islam is expected to be perform by all privileged and physically fit Muslims and warned against the culture of wealth acquisition

He expressed dismay on the attitudes of some Muslims who intend going to Mecca to trade, urging them to let the fear of God govern their endeavors during and after Hajj period.

In his remark at the occasion  Alhaji AbdulRasaq Aduagba urged all intending pilgrims to use their period in the holy land to seek Allah’s favour and pray fervently for the growth and development of the country.
