YABATECH wants fund
...to build motor vehicles, aircraft

From BUHARI BELLO, Jos

YABA College of Technology (YABATECH) is seeking funding to advance the production of motor vehicles and aircraft, in order to build on their designed prototypes.
Chairman of YABATECH Governing Board, Reverend Alexander Lar, said in an interview in Jos that officials of the Technical Department said the manufacture of both vehicles and aircraft was possible with little financial assistance from the government.
Lar told New Nigerian that the prototypes that had been produced were currently being used within the school premises, indicating that their design had been a success.
He appealed to the Federal Government for financial assistance in order to put the design into commercial production.
