6 persons killed in Lagos collapsed building

SIX people were reported to have died in Lagos when a building collapsed at John Street, Idumota yesterday. Offici
als of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) were said to have rescued 30 persons from the robble after the incident.
The Director-General of NEMA Alhaji Sani Sidi in reaction to the disaster said "we can't continue to tolerate contractors using inferior materials for buildings where innocent people are victims."
