Habila Wayo dies at 69

THE Wakilin Mai Martaba Kpop Ham, Hon Habila Wayo is dead. He died on the 28th November, 2009 at the age of 69.

Late Habila Wayo was born on the 12th April of 1940 and had his primary school education, first leaving certificate from Maude Primary School, Kwoi.

He started his career as  Medical Laboratory Assistant at S. I.M Kwoi Dispensary in 1962, and Evangel Hospital, Jos from 1962 – 1963 in the same position before he was seconded to interim common service of Northern Nigeria, 1967-1970. Habila Wayo served at the Ahmadu Bello University Laboratory Training School, Kaduna, as well as Head of Medical Laboratory Services, General Hospital, Kafancha in 1975-1996.

Late Habila Wayo is survived by a wife, Mrs. Ruth Dangiwa and three children, Mr Yusuf H. Wayo, Miss Esther and Mr. Dauda H. Wayo. He has since been buried.
