Edo Govt promises drainage construction

GOVERNOR Oserheimen Osunbor of Edo said in Benin that his administration would embark on a massive construction of effective drainage to check flooding in the state. The Governor spoke while inaugurating the construction and rehabilitation of 28 roads in pats of the state.
He said money for 25 of the projects was released to the contractors last week, noting that an effective drainage was necessary for the on-going work to be meaningful. Osunbor said majority of the roads were in the state capital, explaining that the reconstruction was in fulfillment of his electoral promises.
