Teachers’ reward is on earth, says Amina Sambo

WIFE of Kaduna state governor, Hajiya Amina Sambo, has said the reward for teachers should be given to them on earth.
The governor’s wife who made the assertion at the speech and prize giving ceremony of Hadiza International Nursery/Primary school, Ungwar Dosa, Kaduna advised teachers in the country not to relent in training the leaders of tomorrow.
Amina Sambo who was represented by Mrs Maryam Everton Yari also appealed to parents to always consider the education of their children above all things.
She expressed the need for parents to strictly monitor the activities of their children and check the type of company their children keep.
Also speaking at the occasion, the state commissioner of education who was represented by Mrs. Grace Nyam, of the state Private Schools board, charged the students to be good ambassadors of the school by avoiding all anti-social practices.
The commissioner who commended the school management for contributing to the upliftment of educational development of Kaduna state, expressed satisfaction on the commitment and dedication of the academic staff of the school.
Earlier, the proprietress of the school, Hajiya Fauziyya Mohammed said the school was established to complement government’s effort in providing qualitative education in the state.
She pointed out that education is the bedrock of human development, adding that the school is prepared to partner with the office of the state first lady.
